Spelling and punctuation
The free checker uses the Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya Nepali spelling dictionary distributed by LibreOffice (LGPL 2.1), plus selected corrections from Varnavinyas (MIT), a small supplementary vocabulary, and selected spelling pairs. The bundle contains 35,529 distinct lexical entries and 67 selected correction mappings. It recognizes direct entries and supported Hunspell suffix forms; it does not implement every compound or multi-stage derivation.
The MPP source is an older spelling resource (release 1.1, 2006). A missing word is shown as unrecognized, not proved wrong. Names, dialects, modern terms, and valid alternatives require judgment. A result with no suggestions is not a certificate of correctness.

Brihat Shabdakosh status
Nepal Academy’s full Brihat Shabdakosh is not bundled. A public JSON extraction exists, but its author explicitly leaves the dictionary license uncertain. A free download does not establish permission for this app to redistribute the dictionary. Authorized data can be imported through the administrator panel once reuse rights and edition are confirmed. This app is not endorsed by Nepal Academy.

Bilingual dictionary
The dictionary contains 2,190 Nepali headwords and 3,084 English sense entries, extracted from English Wiktionary by Kaikki.org. This is a community-maintained reference, not an authoritative or complete replacement for a professionally edited dictionary. English lookup is a reverse search of definitions. Results link to the original page for contributor history and revisions.

AI grammar suggestions
Premium AI uses OpenAI and can suggest context-sensitive grammar changes. AI is not guaranteed to be correct and does not verify text against the full Brihat dictionary. You review each edit before applying it. Text is sent only after your explicit consent for that check. The administrator must approve a Nepali quality review before enabling public AI access.
Font conversion and exports
Unicode ↔ Preeti conversion runs on your device using an independently implemented legacy glyph mapper. Unusual glyphs, mixed fonts, and differing legacy font versions need review. PDF is intended for viewing and printing; complex Nepali glyphs may not copy back to reliable Unicode. Use DOCX for editing. DOCX and PDF downloads contain newly typeset text; original layouts, pictures, comments, and tracked changes are not preserved.
